For the California and local hiring incentives, we identify employees of a business who've met the eligibility criteria at their time of hire through file review and brief employee interviews (2-7 minutes each).
Our goal while identifying employees who meet the hiring incentives eligibility requirements is to cause little or no disruption to our client's business activities and the duties of its employees.
We are always available to our clients, whether promptly responding to our client's inquiries or conducting employee screenings at a time that is least disruptive to their business. This includes weekends or graveyard shift availability.
For the Federal Work Opportunity Tax Credits (WOTC), we implement a process specific to each business to achieve the highest level of success in securing these incentives within the eligibility period allowed by law (28 days).
We will handle all aspects in regards to the incentives we generate. From identifying eligible employees for the hiring incentives, securing third party supporting documentation to prove their eligibility, representing our clients to local agencies in obtaining certification for those employees, determining the value of the resulting tax credits, working with the tax preparers in applying the tax credits to maximize the tax savings, and if needed, representing the client to either the city, state, or federal revenue agencies.
We guarantee our fees with the sustainability of the tax credits generated during our studies.
For tax periods in which the client is eligible to claim refunds of prior taxes paid, we do not bill for those periods until the refunds are secured and the client receives their refunds.
We inform clients and assist them with any potential new federal, local, or state incentives that become available and advise them of any potential changes to incentives already being claimed.
We assist clients in identifying potential economic development areas when planning for new locations and plan a process with them to readily identify any new eligible employees hired at that location for any hiring or equipment purchase incentives available.
We assist clients with identifying and claiming any property tax abatements, state or federal income, and county/state sales tax incentives for new equipment purchases.
